CHILD RIGHTS MANUAL.
Empowering children to recognize and protect their rights and those of vulnerable children.
The Child Rights Manual was developed by the Center for the Advancement and Protection of the Rights of Vulnerable People (CAPRIGHTS-VP) as a practical resource to empower children with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, understand, promote, and protect their rights, while also encouraging them to identify, support, and advocate for the rights of other vulnerable children within their homes, schools, and communities. The manual promotes child participation, safeguarding, positive values, and responsible citizenship by equipping children with age-appropriate information on child rights, child protection, personal safety, reporting mechanisms, leadership, and peer advocacy. It serves as a guide for children, teachers, caregivers, community leaders, and child rights advocates committed to creating safe, inclusive, and protective environments where every child can thrive.
