Curbing Sexual Violence In Secondary School
October 7, 2017
OVERVIEW
This Guideline will discuss sexual violence in schools, what it means for the rights of Students, and how to respond if you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual violence by a teacher, fellow student or any adult.
Sexual violence affects not only those who are physically hurt, but also people around them, and those who feel that they are at risk of being hurt because they belong to a vulnerable group.
Victims of sexual violence sometimes find that their physical and mental health has been compromised, and that it is difficult for them to function properly in day-to-day life. If the person is of a school age, then it may be difficult to participate in and do well at school
