About CAPRIGHTS-VP
Centre for the Advancement and Protection of the Rights of Vulnerable People (here referred to as CAPRIGHTS-VP) is an organisation borne out of the passion and concern of 4 Nigerian professionals for the cause of the vulnerable people particularly- women, children, orphans, people with disability, the elderly, the youths (especially those who needs guidance in life) and generally the less privileged in our society

Equality
Equality: we strong believe that no person is lesser just by mere fact of the circumstances of their lives and, so we uphold the equal rights of every human being
Integrity
Integrity: we are strongly committed to our obligations, objectives and vision. We take responsibility for our action, both success and failures. We do not relent until the impact we aim at are achieve and we ensure that our deliverables are such that we will be proud to identify with at any time
Mutual Respect
Mutual Respect: we believe in the dignity of every human being. Wwe understand that there could be differences and misunderstanding of our believes vis-à-vis that of others, and so we hold such differences and diversity with high esteem and respect even as we maintain what we believe in
Accountability
Accountability: We take responsibility for our actions and decisions and thus ensure that these actions and decisions reflect who we are at all times. We also believe that the government should be held responsible for its obligations towards our focus group
Transparency
Transparency: we believe in open and accessible procedures so that it is clear to our stakeholders how we do things, why we do what we do and that same processes are documented for review
Our Objectives
Empower
Empower the focus group of CAPRIGHTS-VP through economic empowerment and livelihood schemes to improve their standard in life
Educate
Educate and inform the focus group of CAPRIGHTS-VP so that they are better positioned to access resources open to them and make more informed decisions as it affect their lives
Bridge
Be the bridge between the vulnerable people and the society and ensure that their issues are brought to limelight, connecting them to institutions that can support them
Facilitate
Facilitate access to justice for vulnerable people through the provision of pro-bono legal services and advocacy for their rights
Enabling environment
Create enabling environment that promotes sustainable development for the vulnerable people where they can strive and succeed
