CAPRIGHTS-VP celebrates children’s day.

Caprights Vp celebrated Children’s Day in collaboration with the Ikotun/Igando Local Council Development Area (LCDA). The event aimed to bring joy and recognition to children, emphasizing the importance of their basic rights and well-being.
During the celebration, special focus was placed on advocating for the protection of child domestic workers. CAPRIGHTS-VP highlighted the unique challenges these children face, including exploitation and lack of access to education and healthcare. The program to protect child domestic workers from harm is funded by the United States Department of State with support from The Freedom Fund .
CAPRIGHTS-VP used the event as a platform to call for increased safeguards and support for child domestic workers. Raising awareness and promoting action, with the aims to ensure a safer and more nurturing environment for all children, especially the child domestic workers.
